Psalm 89 Forever I will sing of your steadfast love, O lord

Music: Gordon Johnston (LivingwhithChrist / Sunday Missal)
Novalis

R/  Forever I will sing of your steadfast love, O lord

I will sing of your steadfast love, O Lord, forever;
with my mouth I will proclaim your faithfulness
                                                             to all generations.
I declare that your steadfast love is established forever;
your faithfulness is as firm as the heavens.  R

You said, “I have made a covenant
                                                 with my chosen one,
I have sworn to my servant David:
I will establish your descendants forever,
and build your throne for all generations.”  R

He shall cry to me, “You are my Father,
my God, and the Rock of my salvation!’
Forever I will keep my steadfast love for him,
and my covenant with him will stand firm.  R

R/  Forever I will sing of your steadfast love, O lord

Psalm 23 The Lord is my shephard; I shall not want

Music: Gordon Johnston (LivingwhithChrist / Sunday Missal)
Novalis

R/  The Lord is my shephard; I shall not want.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures;
he leads me beside still waters;
he restores my soul. R/

He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley,
       I fear no evil;
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff  they comfort me. R/

You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies;
you anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows. R/

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
my whole life long.  R/

Psalm 63 My soul thirsts for you, O Lord my God

Music: Gordon Johnston (LivingwhithChrist / Sunday Missal)
Novalis

R/ My soul thirsts for you, O Lord my God

O God, you are my God, I seek you,
my soul thirsts for you;
my flesh faints for you,
as in a dry and weary land where there is no water. R/

So I have looked upon you in the sanctuary,
beholding your power and glory.
Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you. R/

So I will bless you as long as I live;
I will lift up my hands and call on your name.
My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast,[a]
and my mouth praises you with joyful lips R/

I think of you on my bed,
and meditate on you in the watches of the night;
for you have been my help,
and in the shadow of your wings I sing for joy. R/

All People That on Earth Do Dwell

Author: William Kethe  Music : J.Bonfils / XVIth century
In French: Nous chanterons pour toi, Seigneur

All people that on earth do dwell,
sing to the LORD with cheerful voice.
Serve him with joy, his praises tell,
come now before him and rejoice!

Know that the LORD is God indeed;
he formed us all without our aid.
We are the flock he surely feeds,
the sheep who by his hand were made.

O enter then his gates with joy,
within his courts his praise proclaim!
Let thankful songs your tongues employ.
O bless and magnify his name!

Because the LORD our God is good,
his mercy is forever sure.
His faithfulness at all times stood
and shall from age to age endure.
